You are not alone if you have concerns about your penis. Many men struggle with their perceptions of themselves when it comes to the size of their penis due to cultural, societal and psychological influences. In many cultures the size of a man’s penis is correlated to his masculinity, virility and sexual aptitude which puts a lot of pressure on men to meet certain ideals. Regardless, your concerns matter and if you are worried about the length or girth of your penis there are options available for enhancement that don’t include surgery.
Is Non-Surgical Penile Enlargement possible?
Yes. You don’t have to go under the knife to increase your penis size. There are non-surgical options for penile enlargement. By non-surgical we mean procedures that are not highly invasive and do not require cutting.
Who is eligible for Non-Surgical Penile Enlargement?
The normal size range for a penis is between 10-11 centimetres while flaccid and 14cm while erect (Maya et al., 2020). Many men fall into this range yet still feel they are below average in size. With this being said, anyone who meets these criteria could be considered eligible for penile enlargement:
- If you are 18 years or older.
- If you are mentally sound and physically healthy.
- If you are concerned with the size of your penis.
- If your penis shape is irregular due to injury, health conditions or a previous surgery.
- If you have not had previous penis implants.
- If you do not take blood thinning medication or supplements.
If you are still unsure if you are a suitable candidate for a non-surgical penis enlargement procedure, contact us for queries or to book a private consultation.
What are the non-surgical options for penis augmentation?
Each penis augmentation option comes with its own benefits and risks. Some of the main non-surgical options for penis augmentation include:
- The “P-shot”: Also called PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), the P-shot is a non-surgical, non-invasive injection. PRP is drawn from the patient’s own blood and then injected into the penis. The theory behind this is that the PRP helps regenerate the smooth muscle, endothelial cells and vessels in the penis. Results can potentially be seen because of increased blood flow, repair responses in the tissue or the Placebo Effect. Realistically, this option is still largely experimental and evidence is arguably anecdotal.
- Stem cell treatment: Stem cells are cells with the potential to develop into different types of cells in the body, like those in the penis. Your fat is extracted, taken to a lab and your stem cells are prepared. Stem cells arguably have some of the most significant regeneration potential today. With stem cell injections you will potentially have better erections and notice increased length and girth.
- Fillers: With fillers, materials are injected into the penis under the skin to add volume, giving the appearance of increased girth. Fillers are considered temporary as the body gradually absorbs the injected substance over time. With any procedure, however, there are risks and some of the associated risks with fillers include infection, uneven results and even lumps. It is imperative to consult one of our professionals if you are considering fillers.
- Fat injection: Fat is taken from other parts of your body, like your belly or thighs, and injected into your penis. After the fat is removed through liposuction, it is purified to remove fluids or oils, leaving healthy fat cells to be injected. A fat injection primarily enhances the girth of the penis as opposed to the length. It is a possibility that this type of non-surgical penile enlargement will provide uneven results as the fat could be distributed unevenly, all the more reason to consider a qualified doctor for the procedure.
- Shock waves: In this penis augmentation method, also known as low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy, or LI-ESWT, high energy waves are applied to the penis in sessions. The benefits of LI-ESWT include improved blood flow, through the formation of new blood vessels, as well as tissue regeneration, increased sensitivity and better function.
- Stretching: Stretching involves the use of mechanical tools. We don’t recommend stretching as doing so could lead to nerve and tissue damage. It is better to give us a call to discuss your options if you are considering this method.
- Vacuum treatment: The benefits of this kind of treatment are debated. While the pressure inside the vacuum expands the penis, it would be temporary and potentially harmful.
Realistic Expectations and Patience
These techniques, and subsequent results, rely on consistency and above all, patience. It is also important to remember that results may vary greatly from patient to patient and that is why it is important to have realistic expectations for the results that can be achieved through Non-Surgical Options for Penis Augmentation.
Safety and Avoiding Scams
While considering penis augmentation, we cannot stress safety enough. Surgical or not, you need to consult a healthcare professional. We have outlined a few points to consider when choosing one:
- Consult a professional that is qualified: Look at credentials, and seek a surgeon who is board-certified and has experience with penis-enlargement procedures, like Dr Oates.
- Avoid non-medical practitioners: Do not consider going to non-medical clinics or doctors without proper qualifications and experience.
- Too good to be true? Probably: Be sceptical of claims that promise radical or instant results.
- Watch out for “Home Treatments”: We cannot stress this enough. Do not attempt to perform penile enlargement treatments on yourself. This could lead to severe infections, injury or permanent damage.
- Research: Research the procedure you want to undertake as well as the doctor you wish to assist you.
- Insist on a consultation: A thorough medical evaluation should take place before the next steps are even considered. If you are ready to book one you can do so with us here.
